It's unclear whether this creature's leaf allows for photosynthesis, but it seems to like sunning itself and doesn't behave aggressively when we're spotted. In fact, it seems quite gentle with the Pikmin. I can only hypothesize that it evades predation by camouflaging with its environment, allowing for its relaxed disposition.
